Chief Excitement Officer

Paula Wyatt is a native Floridian, persistently passionate about the vibrant city of Orlando.  As the Chief Excitement Officer at Anything is Posh Able®  embodying her role as a communication consultant and event strategist. Working alongside some of Central Florida's most admired organizations,  she has been building excitement about brands, missions, and events since Valentine's Day 2008. Paula is the founder of Posh Abilities, a nonprofit organization that provides complimentary event planning and  IMAGE Building services to nonprofit organizations in Central Florida. 

 

Recognized as one of Orlando's Women of the Year in 2022, she has been praised by Orlando Magazine as "a leader who helps keep our community strong."  Paula takes seriously her commitment to the community, serving in several leadership and advisory roles with organizations that inspire her. Including her long-standing partnerships with FusionFest (leading media engagement and curating the Fusion Fashion experience) and with the Orlando Sports Foundation (serving as the tournament director of the annual Cure Cup and as the executive producer of the March 2Cure).


Paula has a remarkable talent for cultivating innovative collaborations. She brings Orlando’s most intriguing people together for the popular quarterly “Ten Interesting People (TIP) Lunch".  And she curates a cast of 12 new faces each year, at An Empowering Night of Laughter, Orlando’s annual all-female comedy show – expanding horizons by helping women to step out of their comfort zones. She never tires of sharing her shine on the popular POSH U B2B Blog -offering deep dives and happy hacks related to image building, communications, event strategy, nonprofit leadership, and more.

 

As editor of the Orlando Newsroom, she reports on interesting people and exciting places in Central Florida. And through her blog POSH University she shares innovative ideas and valuable insights on communications, marketing, fundraising, and event strategy. Featured in Momlando.

 

She was a columnist for Orlando Life Magazine and has also been featured in various publications such as Orlando Business Journal, Orlando Style Magazine, Orlando Magazine, Orange Appeal, and Orlando Sentinel. As a guest lecturer, she has shared her knowledge at esteemed institutions such as UCF School of Business, Full Sail University, UCF Rosen School of Hospitality Management, and Rollins College of Women's Studies. Paula has been invited to speak at prominent industry events hosted by organizations including PRSA Orlando, NACE, and CFHLA.

 

Prior to establishing Anything is Posh Able®, Paula held a prominent role in corporate marketing at Time Warner, where she seamlessly integrated marketing, public relations, and operations. She fostered strategic partnerships with television networks and collaborated on nationally televised Pay-Per-View events. Her responsibilities encompassed managing a robust calendar of festivals, parades, sponsorships, and event marketing concepts.

 

Paula's expertise and accomplishments have garnered recognition, including being a finalist for the Biz Bash Reader's Choice Award for Event Planner of the Year. She has been nominated for Orlando's 40 Under 40, Women to Watch, Women Who Mean Business, and the Girl Scouts' Women of Distinction Award.

 

Always looking for ways to push beyond the limits of her personal comfort zone, Paula has had many unique experiences. She wore the title of Ms. Windermere in the 2012 Ms. Corporate America Pageant, she lobbied congress with CARE in support of international humanity rights for women, and channels her funny side at SAK University - IMPROV Lab.
